Leadership Whitley County has been designed to educate and inform local leaders, and those interested in assuming leadership roles, about the functions and challenges of public policy and social issues unique to Whitley County, Indiana. Topics that relate to the future direction of the community are of particular interest. The program is built upon the belief that local residents are best suited to create vision for their community and should be empowered to do so. Through networking opportunities and skill building activities, LWC strives to develop a pool of knowledgeable and influential visionaries who will provide an expanded source from which we as a community can draw civic leadership. The skills learned through leadership training will also be carried back to homes and workplaces.
